MILLING
For parts that are just about any shape , and for those that lack rotational symmetry about some imaginary axis through the part, the CNC mill is the machine for the job.
TURNING
For cylindrical parts such as pins, shafts, and spacers, or parts with general rotational symmetry, ‘turning’ them on a lathe is usually the simplest and most cost-effective choice.
EDM
Electrical discharge machining is used primarily for hard metals or those that would be very difficult to machine with traditional techniques. EDM can cut intricate contours or cavities in pre-hardened steel without the need for heat treatment to soften and re-harden them.
INSPECTION
LAD Engineering applies AS9100 and ISO 9001 Standards to all parts based on drawings and required tolerances. Material certifications of conformance are provided upon request.
